Micallef Shanaan Perfume by M . Micallef, Shanaan by m. Micallef is a balsamic, warm and spicy fragrance made to be worn by either sex. It leads off with citrus top notes of lemon and petit grain, which balances the lemon with its soft and lightly rose/woody/green/floral combination. This sweet/sour mixture tickles your nose and invites you deeper with mid-notes of clean, crisp cedar in contrast to dark, spicy patchouli and smoky incense. Base notes provide the foundation of this fragrance with sweet and resinous amber touched with vanilla; deep and leathery labdanum from the rock rose; and sensuous and warm musk that adds an animalistic note. French perfume makers martine micallef and geoffrey nejman launched the m. Micallef brand in grasse in 1997. The husband-and-wife team to date have created more than 100 perfumes. Micallef is a designer and artist who also operates a beauty institute in cannes. Perfumers jean claude astier and geoffrey nejman collaborated with the perfume makers in creating this scent. Launched in 2016, shanaan is one of the newest perfumes from the house. Its unique blend of woody, smoky and amber notes envelops you without overpowering the room and adds an air of mystery to the men and women who wear it.
